本日はIELTSライティング① ダイアグラム_製造工程について、IELTS講師に添削していただきました。このダイアグラムもワンパターンなので、解き方パターンを覚えてしまえば非常に簡単です。

The diagram below shows how cotton garments are manufactured. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

概要
Overall, there are 16 distinct stages involved in the production of cotton garments from the initial planting of cotton seeds, through the processing of cotton garments, to the eventual delivery of the finished products to retailers.

綿の種を植えるところから始まり、綿の衣料品を加工し、最終的に完成品を小売店に届けるまで、綿の衣料品の生産には16の段階がある。

詳細
Initially, the production begins with sowing cotton seeds and they are grown until they are mature enough to be harvested. After which, the cotton flowers are collected and separated from their stems either manually or automatically by a machine.

綿花の生産は、まず綿の種を蒔くことから始まり、収穫できるほどに成熟するまで育てられる。その後、綿花が集められ、手作業または機械によって自動的に茎から切り離される。

They then are transported to a factory where several types of treatments are given.

その後、工場に運ばれ、そこで数種類の作業が施される。

The first step is to make collected cottons dry ,followed by a stage of separation of fibers from seeds and leaves using an extractor.

最初の工程は、採取したコットンを乾燥させることで、その後、抽出機を使って繊維を種子や葉から分離する段階に進む。

These fibers are sorted according to strength and color and then set into by a spinning machine in which fibers are turned into yarn.  After which, they are weaved by a weaving machine to produce rolls of fabric.

これらの繊維は強度と色によって選別され、紡績機にセットされる。  その後、織機によって織られ、ロール状の生地が作られる。

Once cut into pieces of fabric in proper length, they are sewed into the final product, cotton garments. They then undergo final inspection and are packed into boxes, which makes the finished products ready for delivery to the retailers.

適切な長さに裁断された生地は、最終製品であるコットン・ウェアに縫製される。その後、最終検査を受け、箱に詰められ、小売店に納品される。
