Introduction : Rumi Nikaido and Aki Nikaido
Rumi Nikaido (born 27 September 1980) and her younger sister, Aki Nikaido (born 15 November 1981) are famous Japanese professional mahjong players, youtubers, and singers. They belong to the Japan Professional Mahjong League (JPML), and the EX Furinkazan (EX風林火山) in M. League, national professional league in Japan. Rumi and Aki are popular as Nikaido sisters. They won many titles in Japanese professional mahjong tournament, individually.

On February 22, 2021, Rumi and Aki started a youtube channel, called “Rumi_Aki_channel (in Japanese)”.
On February 22, 2023, Rumi and Aki started a new youtube channel, called “Nikaido of World (subbed in English)”, for global expansion.
Moreover, Rumi and Aki sing the "NICOICHI (in Japanese)". We can listen this song at many kinds of streaming services and others.
Rumi and Aki also joined the World Riichi Championship (WRC), which is a worldwide competition of Japanese Mahjong (called Riichi Mahjong), held every 3 years since 2014. The first Championship was held in the Paris, France in 2014. The second edition was held in Las Vegas, USA in 2018. The third edition was held in Vienna, Austria in 2022. And, the fourth edition will be held in Tokyo, Japan in 2025.
