What is creativity?

What is creativity? Creating all the element from scratch is , as a matter of fact, impossible one person. Everyone uses existing technology or is impressed by existing genius. Those who boast that they built it all by themselves from nothing are arrogant in that sense. We should be aware that modern food, clothing, and housing have been created by many people over a very long history. Then, even if I create something on my own , I am using technology that others have already created. Can that be called creative? I don't know what percentage of my efforts  in that work can be called creative. But the most important thing is to complete the work. If you can pack as much of your effort as possible within that scope, isn't that enough?
