『難波屋おきた』

『歌麿を描きます』シリーズの4枚目。今回は『難波屋おきた』です。

I draw a Utamaro "4th piece of the series. This time is "Naniwaya Okita".

浮世絵は好きだったのですが、どちらかと言うと北斎が好きで、歌麿の良さをそれほど感じていたわけではありません。ですが、こうして描いてみると、歌麿は完璧ですね。当時の大衆娯楽である浮世絵と、完璧な技術の追求という、ねじれた構造がこの奇跡を生んだのでしょうか。

I liked ukiyoe, but I rather liked Hokusai and I did not feel so good about Utamaro. But if you draw it like this, Utamaro is perfect. Did the twisted structure of Ukiyo-e, the popular entertainment of the day and the pursuit of perfect technology, produce this miracle?

今回も集中しすぎて、途中の制作過程の撮影を忘れてしまいました。

I too concentrated too much this time and forgot to shoot the production process on the way.
