Climate Reality Training (@オーストラリア)に選抜されました。

Global Shaperの中から選出いただき、アル・ゴア元米国副大統領の気候変動イニシアティブ「Climate Reality Training」に参加してきました。

As one of 30 Global Shapers selected globally, I had an honor to participate in former US Vice President Al Gore's initiative, "Climate Reality Training".

アル・ゴア氏の500ページ(!)、2時間半、ノンストップの演説は「これがアメリカの大統領候補になる政治家の力か...!」と思わせる圧巻のセッションでした。800人の参加者を飲み込む迫力たるや。

Mr.Gore's 500 slides (!!) speech was simply phenomenal! He brought the 800 audiences into his world and never let go for the entire 2.5 hours. The energy, enthusiasm, and charm he showed was something I had never experienced from a Japanese politician. (unfortunately...)

世界各地で活躍する環境関連の仲間と繋がり、課題感も共有でき、貴重な機会となりました。私が長野等で進めているエネルギー事業も引き続き着実に進めていく所存です。

It was a great opportunity to get connected to all the changemakers from all over the world and share common challenges we must tackle. I hope I can contribute further to this great movement with my energy sustainability project in Nagano.
