2024年3月5日（火）、令和5年度の工学賞・研究科長表彰・工業会賞の授賞式が執り行われ、物理学系専攻や応用物理学科目からの多く受賞者がいらっしゃいました。受賞者のコメントやストーリー等を順に3件（①～③）ご紹介します！
On Tuesday, March 5, 2024, the awards ceremony for Engineering Award,
Dean's Award, and Industrial Society Award was held. There were many award winners from our department. The following are three comments (#1~#3) of the award winners !!
① 工学賞 応用物理学科目 応用物理学コース 藤井 紀文 さん
大阪大学の工学賞を吉川研究室の藤井 紀文さんが受賞されました！
工学部の各学科目およびコースの成績優秀者を表彰するものです。

② 研究科長表彰 －科学と光を使ったおもしろ体験教室－ 4名
研究科長表彰は、工学研究科の教育・業務運営等にボランティア的に尽力のあった教職員(教授および事務部においては部長・課長を除く)、並びに学生・団体を対象とする顕彰制度です。今回、OPTICA/SPIE学生団体のご活動に対して研究科長表彰が贈られました！
藤田研(奥村、井上)、バルマ研(楊), 井上研(玉城、岸岡)が運営するOPTICA/SPIE学生団体は、大阪府吹田市が運営する夢つながり未来館と協力し、中学生以下の子どもを対象に光を使った体験教室を開催しました。体験内では簡易的な道具を使ってプロジェクター作り、ブラックライトを使った謎解き、タブレットを使った3Dホログラム体験を催しました。本イベントには約500人を超える子どもたちが参加し、大盛況となりました。科学に興味を持っていただける機会になっていたと期待してます。

#2: Dean's Award, an award system for students, organizations etc. who have made volunteer efforts in education and administrative operations.
OPTICA/SPIE student chapter, organized by Fujita lab(Okumura, Inoue), Verma lab(Yang) and Inoue lab(Tamaki, Kishioka), collaborated with Yume-Tsunagari-Mirai-Kann in Suita city in Osaka prefecture and hosted an experimental class room using light for children under junior high school age. Within the event, the children engaged in activities such as creating projectors, solving mysteries with black lights, and watching 3D holograms using tablets. More than 500 children attended the event, and we are expect it provided them with an opportunity to foster an interest in science.

受賞された戸市 裕一朗さんからのコメント：
このたびは研究科長賞を頂き、大変光栄に思います。八大学工学系連合会では毎年持ち回りで「博士フォーラム」が開催されております。今年度の博士フォーラムは大阪大学大学院工学研究科が幹事校となり、昨今のAI社会に関する「AI時代の博士の歩み方」というタイムリーなテーマのもと、AI社会での「博士」の意義について討論する場を企画しました。全国100名以上の博士学生を取り込んだ有意義なフォーラムとなりましたことを嬉しく思います。

Voices of Award Winners:
I am very honored to receive the Dean's Award. Eight-University Engineering Association holds the "Doctoral Forum" every year. This year's Doctoral Forum was organized by the Graduate School of Engineering, Osaka University. Under the timely topic of "How to be a doctor in the age of AI," we planned a forum to discuss the significance of "doctor" in the recent AI society. I am pleased that the forum was successful with the participation of more than 100 doctoral students from all over Japan.
