A Mosquito at May

After hearing the news that a giant Japanese macaque had escaped from the zoo, Daiten Suganuma went to his bedroom. At first, he was enjoying the comfortable silence, but then a shrill, grating sound began to reverberate through the room. It was the sound of mosquito wings. Daiten was irritated by the unpleasantness as if something had written a messy graffiti on his eardrum. Even though it was still May, the mosquito was flying around the room cheerfully. It was nauseatingly evil, Daiten thought. At first, he tried to kill the mosquito by tapping his ears the moment he heard the sound of wings, but it didn't work at all. He needlessly hit his own body. Next, he was trying to hold out until he could sleep. But the sound that kept circling his ear didn't put him to sleep.
Eventually, he got out of bed and pulled a mosquito-killing device out of the closet. The device, which looked like a dirty nipple, seemed unreliable. He turned on the switch, waiting for a while. Then, strangely, the sound of the wings disappeared. Daiten was relieved. He went to the room of his wife, Iwai. She was reading to her son, Zen.
"What's going on?"
"Ah, there was a mosquito in my room."
"Have you seen a mosquito now?
"Apparently."
"All right. I'll be careful."
Zen shrank back and clung to Iwai. The close distance between them pissed Daiten off. Daiten loved Iwai and wanted to be with her all the time. This thought was even thicker in the age of coronavirus. However, for some reason, Iwai kept trying to distance herself from Daiten. The truth was that he wanted to share the bedroom with her, but it was Iwai that forcefully divided it. Daiten could not refuse her plea. But Iwai loved Zen and allowed him to be on her side. Zen was enjoying her scent and softness as he wanted. Daiten was sure he would have been at that place one day. He was certainly jealous of Zen. And he cursed his abominable sperm.
Daiten went back to his room and tried to sleep, but the sound of those wings came again. With further discomfort, the sounds echoed arrogantly. A great will to kill the mosquito was born in Daiten. He wanted to kill the mosquito at all costs which were poisoning his ears. He hit the spot the moment he heard the fluttering of wings, slamming on and on. Still, the mosquito didn't die. Nevertheless, Daiten continued his constant attempts to kill.
But he felt an itch on his left hand. Touching it, he noticed that a bulge existed there. In other words, he was bitten by the mosquito. A fierce rage swelled up in him. And it burned up Daisuke's body like a hell flame. He turned on the light and stood in the middle of the room. The moment he heard a fluttering sound, he tapped the spot. And he tapped the spot the moment the sounds were heard. He repeated this endlessly. He couldn't kill a mosquito. But Daiten continued to move his body. Even so, fatigue accumulated in Daisuke's body, which insinuated his obesity typical for a middle-aged man, and he felt like his whole body had turned to leads. He could no longer even tell himself if he wanted to kill the mosquito or destroy the room. He laid down on the bed to get some rest. Then he fell asleep.
In the dream, Daiten killed Zen. Then he cut Zen's body with a cleaver and turned it into a mass of dismembered flesh. He put it in the microwave and let it stand for about a minute. Then a deliciously burnt meat appeared. After putting the meat on a plate, he called for his wife. Iwai smiled broadly when she saw the food. Together they ate the meat of Zen and occasionally kissed each other. The meat of Zen was so good that it made his cheeks melt. Then Daiten looked at Iwai's face. Her eyes were as beautiful as oil, black and scowling. In those eyes was a spectacularly beautiful sea of oil. Daiten licked her eyeballs. Contrary to appearances, it was as sweet as a rainbow-colored candy ball. Then, while Iwai was in heat, she kissed Daisuke. While accepting this, Daiten ate the flesh of Zen. He felt a surge of power, and naturally, his penis became erect. But he didn't want to have children even if he did sex. So, with the knife which had cut into the flesh of Zen, Daiten now cut into his testicles. Now he didn't have to worry about producing sperm. Then Daiten and Iwai started having sex. Beside it, the flesh of Zen rapidly rotted away.
Drenched in sweat, Daiten hurriedly woke up. He had a fierce dream and felt nauseous. He looked at the clock and it was now 5 a.m. It seemed that he slept for quite a long time. But again, the sound of mosquito wings could be heard. He had no more power to fight, so he decided to take a walk. The purple world is eerie, making him wonder if the world has been transformed by the coronavirus. In Daiten's case, his job had become telecommuting and Zen was home all the time. Even only these were big changes. Daiten felt a cool breeze on his cheek. The tenderness, as if it had been a goddess' caress, eased Daiten's heart, which had been burned by the mosquito. But when he got to the front of the nursing home, he saw a strange shadow. A large darkness-like object slowly approached Daiten. He stared in horror. It was a Japanese macaque. It was that giant Japanese macaque that had been reported on the news. He was huge, for sure. It was not like the kind of pet Japanese monkeys he could see on TV. It was a real Japanese macaque that was full of wild killing intent.
The absolute atmosphere made Daiten feel pressured and he couldn't move. Who said that humans are stronger and smarter than apes? In this situation, the king was the Japanese macaque and the slave was Daiten. While the Japanese macaque approached him with great dignity, Daiten couldn't move a single finger. Then the Japanese macaque stood in front of Daiten. He was about as tall as Daisuke's waist, so it might be appropriate that he was more like a brown gorilla than a Japanese macaque. The smell was fiercely pungent, and being in the middle of this smell was like being forcibly sniffed with a wild, poisonous drug. An overwhelming silence enveloped them for a moment. Suddenly, however, the Japanese macaque opened its mouth and started screaming.
 Ukiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!
It was like a kamaitachi, a Japanese folklore monster that appeared in a whirlwind to cut their victim to death, slicing through the air, and the sheer force of it made Daisuke blown off. When Daisuke stared at him in stunned amazement, the Japanese macaque approached him. Then he screamed again, slapping Daisuke's left cheek. It made him feel the intense pain. The Japanese macaque screamed even more and slapped his right cheek. At that moment, as if a revelation had descended on him, Daiten realized what he needed to do. He swallowed spit, stared at the macaque, and then screamed.
 Ukiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!
He screamed to the limit even though his voice was crushed, then he started screaming again after he recovered. As screaming, he felt something inside of him being released. At this time, he was free. And before he knew it, the Japanese monkey had disappeared. But Daiten ran. He ran with a scream.
 Ukiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!
When he reached the house, he grabbed a hammer from the warehouse, going into his room. First, he destroyed the bed. The exploding sound of wood reverberated through the world. Next, he destroyed the bookshelf. An avalanche of comic books fell from inside, but he didn't care. Further, he destroyed the wardrobe. He didn't even have the slightest affection for the clothes inside. And he destroyed the window. The sound of the destruction was epic as if the end of the world had come. He destroyed the floor. Several crater-like holes were opened by the hammer. Finally, he destroyed the wall. The white walls were shattering into white debris. Before he knew it, Iwai and Zen were standing around the door. He could see the clear fear in their faces.
 Ukiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!
With an exclamation, he stared at the broken wall. Something small and dusty stopped in the clean, white spot that remained. It was a mosquito. Then Daisuke clutches the hammer.
