続くか分からないけど、きまぐれ英語学習。当面は、ニュースを読んで一つ表現をnoteするの巻。

今日はたまたま私の持っている語彙でも全く問題なく読める記事だったかも。丁度malicious softwareという単語について記載した際、vulnerable は最近使わないのか？なんてかいたのですが。vulnerable Hyundai and Kia modelsという表現ありました。

ちょっとわからないままなのは、"some off the people doing this"という表現ですが、「盗みをするような一部の人々は」という風に解釈しました。

翻訳：このようなことをやっている人たちの中には、面白半分でやっている人もいることを示すニュースがあるのは確かである。ある時点で、流行としてHyndaiやKiaの車を盗むことはなくなると考えるのが論理的であろう。

最初の出だしが、この文章なので、More than a year after Hyundai and Kia released new anti-theft software updates, thefts of vehicles with the new software are falling — even as thefts overall remain astoundingly high, according to a new analysis of insurance claim data.　それを受けての〆の文章だなという感じに書かれています。
