Excel Macro VBA to create a list of saved Outlook email msg files on a PC

email msg files stored on a PC are not searchable.

When Outlook mail is saved as msg file on a PC, it is very difficult to use.

The date and time the file was created is the date the email was saved to my PC and we don't know the date and time it was received.

Also, the number and names of attachments cannot be checked without opening the msg file.

So I created a macro to create a list of Outlook emails stored on your PC or on your hard disk. I

After executing the macro, a sheet named "mailDB" is added, which lists the file name, date and time received, subject, sender, number of this file, and name of the attachment.

When the macro is executed, a dialog will open to select a folder, so select the folder where the e-ail msg files are stored.

The file name will be in hyperlink format, so you can click on the file name to open the corresponding e-mail msg file.
