Return trip to Nishi-Maizuru:October 26th(Thursday)
Every year, our university makes an effort to simplify and make university course content more understandable for students in the Kinki region by conducting mock classes at high schools. Today, we made a day trip from Kyoto Station to Nishi-Maizuru Station using the "Limited Express Maizuru" train.
The theme of the class was "Decarbonization and Energy Policy," and I was very relieved to see that high school students are seriously contemplating carbon neutrality. I strongly believe that we should entrust the future of Japan to the younger generation, and the elderly should gracefully step aside.
In particular, I believe that Japan's politics are plagued by the influence of the elderly, and it's a waste of taxpayers' money. In order to improve Japan, politicians themselves should acknowledge that rejuvenating the members of the House of Representatives and the House of Councillors should be their top priority.
While contemplating these thoughts, I gazed at the autumn leaves in the Hozugawa Valley from the window of the return "Limited Express Maizuru."
