I look upon the drifting clouds, then I cross the street at the crosswalk.
It immediately turns red. The promise I made in April, half-running, I should still be able to keep it.

Where is this place? It took me 2 hours, and it was far.
Today I’m working again. Aren’t I a good girl for not going to the pachinko parlor?  ＜1＞

Lights that aren’t the sun 
Overflow beyond this dim black night.
They shine through the small holes cut in sketchbook paper
And turn into city lights and the night sky.

＜１＞ A popular kind of gambling venue in Japan. 

Hello, it's Fig! This is one of my favorite, if not my favorite Shibata Satoko songs so I had to translate it.
Note that in Japanese, it's very difficult to tell who/what the subject of a sentence is which means that (as always) I took a fair amount of liberties and set the lyrical subject the way I feel it's appropriate - though it may not be the same for you!  Also I have no idea what the title means, I'm sorry.
