藤井 風 海外風活日記 第13話

藤井 風さんのデビュー４周年記念に、久しぶりに海外風活日記@noteをアップデート。（以下敬称略、リスペクトは行間にふんだんに散りばめ済みなのでお許しを）
私は「タクシー風活」を3年半ほど続けている。「タクシー風活」とは、日本国語大辞典の定義によると「藤井 風 オタが、タクシーの中で、藤井 風の音楽をかけさせてもらい、推し活も兼ねながら音楽を楽しむ行為」のこと。

大辞典の定義はともかく、面と向かって「藤井 風の音楽っていいよ」と勧めようとすると、かなりの挙動不審人物になってしまい、推し活どころか逆効果になってしまう私が、唯一自然にできる推し活がタクシー風活なのだ。
普段、タクシーに乗ると、"Can I play my music ?（私の音楽かけてもいいかな）" と運転手さんに聞いて、OKだったら、スマホや、持ち歩いているBluetooth スピーカーで、藤井 風 の音楽をかけさせてもらう、大抵は、目的地に着くまでの束の間、藤井 風 の音に浸って、少しだけ心が柔らかくなる時間。だけど、たまに「この人いいね」とか「この人は日本人なの？」みたいなことを聞いてくれる運転手さんもいて、会話が盛り上がることも。毎回タクシーに乗るたびに、「今日の運転手さんは反応してくれるかな？」と宝くじを引いているような気分で結構おもしろい。タクシー風活の話はXのプラットフォーム（旧Twitter）で #海外風活日記 や #風活日記 で検索してもらうと昔のがポツポツと出てくると思うので、お時間あればご参照を。
少し前に、そのタクシー風活でとても嬉しいことがあった。タクシーを呼んで乗り込んですぐ、「今日はとっても忙しくて疲れちゃったのでリラックスするために私の好きなアーティストの音楽をプレイしてもいいかな？」と聴いたら、なんと運転手さんが振り返って"Fujii Kaze ?"と聞いてきたのだ。
この国で長らくタクシー風活をしてきたけど、運転手さんの方から「藤井 風」と言ってくれたのは、初めてだったので、それはもうびっくりして、顎が外れそうになった。
状況が把握できない私が目を丸くして、「え？え？なんで？」と驚いていると、「君が出てくるのを待っている間、彼の音楽を聴いてたんだぜ」とカーオーディオで誰かが作ったFujii Kazeのプレイリストを見せてくれた。
「以前、君がお客さんとして乗ってくれた時、Fujii Kazeを紹介してくれたんだ、それから僕はKazeを聴き出したんだよ。疲れた時は、海辺に行って、Fujii Kaze を聴くんだ、そうするととってもリラックスできるんだよ。僕のお気に入りの曲は『まつり』だよ」と言ってくれた。
「君のことは忘れていたけど、今日君がタクシーに乗ってきて、 "Can I play my music?"って聞いてきた時、あの時の君だとすぐわかったよ」
同じタクシーの運転手さんに遭遇する確率もすごいけど、藤井 風 を紹介した人が、彼の音楽を気に入って、癒されているという幸福な真実を目の当たりにした時、なんだかとても心が温かくなって、藤井 風 の言葉を思い出した。

「ここにも、藤井 風の音楽のおかげで、ちょっといい気分で人生を送れている人がいる」ということが、とても嬉しくて、タクシーが目的地に到着する間、「まつりという曲は432Hzに合わせてあるんだよ、だから本当にリラックス効果があるんだよ」みたいな話で盛り上がり、「また会えるといいね、元気でね」と言ってタクシーを降りた。
人生、大変なことも多いけど、生きてるとやっぱりいいことあるよね、と思える夜だった。

#KazeDiary Episode 13 for Fujii Kaze 4th anniversary of debut
To celebrate the fourth anniversary of Fujii Kaze's debut, I updated my "Kaze Diary" on note blog for the first time in a while.
I've been doing "Kaze Rooting Activity in Taxi" for about three and a half years. Do you want to know what it is?
According to the definition in the Japanese Dictionary, it is "the act of a Kazetarin (i.e. Fujii Kze fan) playing Fujii Kaze's music in a taxi, enjoying the music while also rooting their fav artist."
...Just kidding. Sorry, Japanese Dictionary-san ;-)
Setting the dictionary's definition aside, when I try to recommend Fujii Kaze to my friends face-to-face, I feel very shy and act weird. Instead of promoting Kaze, it often has the opposite effect. The only fan activity I can naturally do is Taxi Kaze Rooting Activity. This is how it goes.
Usually, when I take a taxi, I ask the driver, "Can I play my music?" If they say okay, I play Fujii Kaze's music on my smartphone or the Bluetooth speaker I carry, immersing myself in Fujii's music during transportation time until I reach the destination.
However, sometimes the driver engages in conversation, saying things like "He is good" or asking, "Is this singer Japanese?"
Every time I take a taxi, it feels like I'm scratching a lottery ticket, wondering, "Will today's driver react to Kaze's music?"
A while ago, something very delightful happened during Taxi Wind Activity. As soon as I got into the taxi I called, I asked, "I had a busy day and got tired, can I play my favorite artist's music to relax?"
To my surprise, the driver turned around and asked, "Fujii Kaze?" It was the first time a driver in this country had mentioned "Fujii Kaze" to me, and I was so surprised that my jaw almost dropped.
Unable to comprehend the situation, I widened my eyes, and while I was exclaiming, "Huh? Why?" the driver showed me a playlist of songs by Fujii Kaze that someone had made on the car audio.
"You introduced Fujii Kaze to me when you were a passenger before. Since then, I started listening to Kaze. When I'm tired, I go to the beach and listen to Fujii Kaze. It helps me relax. My favorite song is 'Matsuri'" he said.
"I had forgotten about you, but when you got into the taxi today and asked, 'Can I play my music?' I immediately knew it was you already."
The probability of encountering the same taxi driver is amazing, but witnessing the happy truth that the person whom I introduced Fujii Kaze is enjoying and finding solace in his music made my heart warm. It reminded me of Fujii Kaze's words:
"I work on music just for someone to live a better day. That's my everything. that's all I need to live on."

Knowing that there are people who can live a little happier life thanks to Fujii Kaze's music is so heartwarming. As the taxi reached the destination, we continued to chat about how the song "Matsuri" is tuned to 432Hz for a truly relaxing effect. We parted with a hope to meet again and a farewell, "Take care."
