Modernaのワクチン臨床試験は、3万人の参加者の半数にワクチンを2回接種し、残りの半数にプラセボを投与しました。

最初の中間解析はCOVID感染者95例で行われました。90例がプラセボ群からで、mRNAワクチン群から5例でした。ワクチンの有効率は94.5％（p＜0.0001）でした。COVID-19の重症11例全員がプラセボ群からでした。ワクチンの忍容性は良好でした。

Modernaのワクチンは、マイナス20度で最大6ヶ月間保存することができ、標準的な冷蔵庫で最大1ヶ月間保存することができます。マイナス75度の超低温保存しかできないファイザー社のワクチンに比べて保存が容易です(384)。

In the Moderna vaccine clinical trial, half of the 30,000 participants received two doses of the vaccine and the other half received a placebo.

The first interim analysis was conducted in 95 COVID-infected patients; 90 were from the placebo group and five from the mRNA vaccine group. The vaccine efficacy rate was 94.5% (p<0.0001).
All 11 severe cases of COVID-19 were from the placebo group. The vaccine was well tolerated.

Moderna's vaccine can be stored for up to 6 months at minus 20 degrees Celsius and can be stored in a standard refrigerator for up to 1 month. It is easier to store than Pfizer's vaccine, which can only be stored at very low temperatures of minus 75 degrees Celsius (384).
