全員が生下時に一度BCG接種歴のある医療関係者280名のうち、71名にBCGを3月に追加接種し、残りの209名には接種しませんでした。繰り返し検査をすると6月末までに、追加接種したグループからPCR陽性になった人は0人、対して接種していないグループからは18人(8.6％)のPCR陽性者が出ました。BCG接種による副反応はありませんでした(248)。オランダとオーストラリアで進行中の研究結果が早く知りたくなります。

Of the 280 health care professionals who all had a history of BCG vaccination at one time at birth, 71 were given an additional dose of BCG in March and the remaining 209 were not vaccinated. Repeated testing showed that by the end of June, zero people from the additional vaccinated group tested positive for PCR, versus 18 (8.6%) from the unvaccinated group; there were no adverse reactions to BCG vaccination (248). We can't wait to learn the results of the ongoing studies in the Netherlands and Australia.
