インドの新聞「タイムズ・オブ・インディア(Times of India)(電子版)」の姉妹誌経済新聞「エコノミック・タイムズ(The Economic Times/電子版)」は2024年01月02日に、インドの国立地震学センター(National Center for Seismology)の報告によると、2024年01月02日火曜日午前11時33分32秒(IST)にジャンムー・カシミール(Jammu and Kashmir)地方でマグニチュード3.9の地震が発生した。
地震は深差5kmで発生した。
