What about Covid-19?

What about real issues that people are dealing with right now? All this scripture stuff that you write about may or may not have anything to do with nothing, and it does not help my situation. I can well imagine that could be what some people are thinking and frankly I sympathize. For those that have lost friends, family and loved ones to this virus. My heart hurts for you, although I have yet to experience this kind of loss, so I do not pretend to know the depth of pain and hurt you are going through. For those who have lost the ability to provide for you or family or have been separated from loved ones because of the virus, I sympathize with this life disrupting situation and I fall into this category as well. What can I offer you in the light of all this turmoil? To be honest I do not have any concrete answers for you. I do not believe this an end of the world event or either the great tribulation period that is mentioned in the Apostle John's book, Revelation. Can I point to anything to back up my thoughts? No not completely. I do believe we are living in the 'Last Days', but what does that look like and how long will it be? I do not know, what I do know for sure is the ruler of this present age, the Prince of the power of the air and his followers are up to no good. (John 16:11, Ephesians 2: 1-3 and Ephesians 6: 12-13) They do not have our best interests at heart, but their time is short. but what does that look like and how long will it be? John 16:11, Ephesians 2: 1-3 and Ephesians 6: 12-13) They do not have our best interests at heart, but their time is short. World governments and powerful organizations have had to adjust to deal with everything that has transpired since Covid-19 came on the scene. Now more than ever the world is discussing things like implementing a fully digital type of monetary system, also ways to track  those who been vaccinated and those who have not. Neither of these things I mentioned are evil in and of them selves, this is intelligent thinking. However, the consolidation of these things and the powers behind them is interesting and on my radar. We are told in scripture that it's not for us to know The time and day that God has planned, so anyone making these type of 'End time predictions', I will say most assuredly, they are wrong. God is not slow in his promises, as some understand slowness. Instead, he is patient with us, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. 2 Peter 3: 9 So what is God waiting for? The last person possible to make their decision, then he will call “time”, but until then we must emulate what he is doing, being patient.(and I agree that is not easy) I wrote something not to long ago that echoed what most people are thinking and feeling about this Covid-19 situation, people want things to go back to normal. My thoughts in this are we are all living in a broken world and this thing we refer to as normal is not what 'Normal' is supposed to look like.  God's normal is to have us in his family working alongside him, loving, respecting all God's imagers and being the caretakers we were created to be and spreading the Edenic vision around the globe. So, I pray we never go back to our normal, but strive for God's normal.
