親愛なる息子へ

今日ね、Papaは10月に予定しているお祭りの
準備に追われた一日だったよ。
Papaは、協賛企業の担当をしているから、
その準備を色々としていたんだ。
Papaの友達も　少し手伝ってくれたりして、
忙しいながらも、楽しくは過ごしているよ。

お昼は、Papaの友人のH-くんとランチをしたんだ。転職や、結婚について色々と話をした。
H-くんの幸せもPapaは本当に祈っているんだ。

話しが逸れたけれど、

君もいつか、Papaが関わっているお祭りに
来てくれたらいいな、と心から思うよ。

間近でみることができる花火は圧巻なんだ。

いつの日か、PapaとMamaの間に君が座っていて
花火を見上げる日が来ることを願っているよ。

Dear Son

Today, Papa was busy all day preparing for the festival that’s planned for October. Since Papa is in charge of handling sponsorships, there was a lot of preparation to take care of. Some of Papa’s friends also helped a little, so even though it’s been hectic, Papa has been enjoying it.

At lunchtime, Papa had lunch with a friend, H-kun. We talked about his job change and marriage. Papa truly wishes H-kun all the happiness in the world.

Papa got a bit off track, but Papa really hopes that one day you can come to the festival that Papa is involved in. The fireworks up close are truly breathtaking.

Papa dreams of the day when you’ll be sitting between Mama and Papa, looking up at the fireworks together.
