Erhu's event at nursery home

I participated in the erhu's event at a nursery home today. We performed Japanese folk songs and Chinese songs with 5 members, including our teacher. The elderly and caregivers enjoyed listening and singing along with us. We really had a great time. It's always a good experience for us to play in front of the audience.

After the event, we had a break at a cafe and enjoyed talking about erhu and the next event which will be held at the community hall next weekend. The 8 members will play together. I'm also excited about it. 

I practice my erhu mainly on the weekends. It's a good refreshing time between my English studies. I'll do my best for the recital in July. We also ordered the new costume for it. It's another exciting part of the event.

老人ホームで演奏

今日は、二胡教室の仲間、先生含めて、5人で老人ホームで演奏してきました。日本の童謡と中国曲を演奏しました。今回、訪問した所は、利用者様とケアマネージャー方も活気があり、聞くだけでなく、一緒に歌ってくれたりしました。演奏している時間の一体感を感じられて、いつも以上に、イベントを楽しめました。人前で演奏する機会があるのは、有難いし、良い経験になります。人前でしゃべったりするのは、すごい緊張するのに、皆で演奏することは、不思議と緊張することなく、楽しんでます。

演奏後、久しぶりに皆とカフェでひと休み。二胡のことや来週末のイベントのことも話したり、楽しい時間でした。来週は、公民館での演奏なので、お客様もまた違って、楽しみ方も変わりそうです。二胡の練習は、週末が中心ですが、英語学習の息抜きに練習しています。7月の発表会の曲は、難しめの曲なので、頑張ります。
