The first edition was published in 1998, but I believe that what is written in this book embodies the spirit that many Japanese anglers lack today.
初版は1998年に発行されたものですが、私はこの本に書かれていることが今の日本人の釣り人に足りていない精神だと思っています。

もしかするとこの時代は現代よりも荒廃していたのかもしれないが、現代の川も充分荒廃していると私は感じています
