サラダが高くついた話

I went to a department store the other day. Normally such stores have prepared meals sections on the basement floor, so I went down to the section to get my dinner.

There are variety of prepared meals; Chinese, Korean, sushi and so forth. Since I’m getting a little fat lately I decide to get something healthy, and I found a pretty salad shop.

Many kinds of fancy salad are displayed in the glass case, and they are all quite reasonable price. So I went up to a cashier and asked to get a pack of Caesar salad, which says 400 yen.

“Excuse me, can I get this Caesar salad?” So I point at the salad and realized the price says 400 yen “per 100g”. I froze a little but started to talk to myself “This gotta be 100g then, that’s how it looks like!”

So the lady at cashier was like “Alright it’s 250g, and this will be 1,000 yen sir”.

Yup, I knew it was coming. This fancy salad cannot be that cheap. I had to look at the pricing rule more carefully. I was an idiot. But let me tell you one thing.

This shit is un-fucking-friendly!!
