Building a Twitter clone with Ruby on Rails

◾️Installing Rails on windows

1. Install Ruby on Rails following these instruction but you can skip the “Configuring Git”, “Setting Up PostgreSQL” and “Final Steps” sections. This can sometimes be complicated, especially on Windows.

2. Install and open VSCode

3. Open a terminal (Menu > Terminal > New Terminal)

4. If the terminal is PowerShell (default), switch to “Git bash”

5. If Git bash is not available, install it, there are some instructions here

6. Make sure rails can be accessed from the terminal by typing rails -v , it should give you a version number
