Let's use Blue Purple Reiju!

Thank you for coming to see my note!
※ My English is not good, so please be gentle with reading it🙇‍♂️

I think it was around the time that OP06 was recently released in America.

This note is based on the content of the previously published Japanese version and has been modified as necessary.
↓This is the Japanese version.

I have been using Reiju for about three months and achieved victory and prize-winning multiple times in Japan's “Flagship Battle“.
※ In Japan, OP06 was released about 4 months ago.

Based on the knowledge gained from these experiences,I hope this note will help those who want to win a match with Reiju!
(Since it's all free, I'd be very
happy if you follow my X's account instead 😭)

Below are the structures of this note.
❶ Points of construction
❷ To bring Reiju to the Flagship Battle
reasons why I think it is suitable
❸-1,Plays that are common to all face-to-face encounters
❸-2,Planing to each face
They are listed in order.

❶ Points of construction

※This is my best construction in OP06 environment.

There are a lot of details, so
In particular, I would like to mention

●Useing 4 pieces of 4 Pudding
※No. 1 selling point
●Adoption 14 cards with 2,000 counters
●Yonji’s rejection

The above three points are the main points that led to my best(final) construction.

First of all, the adoption of 4 pieces of 4 Puddings is,,,

・Faces that can be used strongly
"Black Yellow Luffy" "Whitebeard" "Enel"
"Uta" "Nami" "Fortress Yamato"
・Faces that can be used reasonably strongly
"Blue and Black Sakazuki" "Perona"

In this way, I think that even if only environmental leaders, it can be expected high value!

Then, as you play Reiju, there will almost always be a turn where you say, "If possible, I'd like to get through the turn without transforming (-1 don)" in developments that require 8 Judge.
At that time, 4 Pudding is very strong! ! !

If your opponent plays counters with 4 Pudding care in mind, you can gain a hand advantage by playing 4 Reiju and increasing the number of cards in your hand. Moreover, 4 Pudding haves 1,000 counters, so you don't have to worry about the bulk.

Once you even out the resource difference with 4 Pudding, you can expand the resource difference to an unreasonable extent with leader effects and character 4 Reiju (and 7 Ichiji・5 Niji), so you can turn it into a “self-contained hand management game”.
*This winning method accounts for half of the matches I actually won. Also, I'm fairly confident in my ability of how to cut counters, so I think it makes sense from my skill standpoint.

What's scarier than anything else is that such a strong option is just one of the "sub plans"😎
I can't stop talking about other details, so I'll move on to the next.

The second, adoption 14 cards with 2,000 counters.
In short, it's to protect all 2,000 requests with one card in hand (or 4 Reiju + some kind of 1,000 counter).

To be honest, even if 8 Judge can't be the fastest, the cost performance of the three types of children is excellent, so it can be surprisingly manageable (as long as the opponent is not outperforming).
What is more likely to lead to a loss when playing Reiju is having to pass 2,000 requests in the early turn.

Among all the leaders, I think Reiju's value per one life is definitely in the top three.
A game that passes 2,000 requests will be at a disadvantage in the life race, as it will be difficult to keep up with subsequent requests of 3,000 or more.

What I noticed was the trend of Reiju decklists that I saw on places like X (formerly Twitter).
"Surprisingly, there are many constructions with fewer 2,000 counters." I thought.
※I had the impression that there were many cases where additional counter events were included.

In that case, I automatically assumed that many players who faced Reiju would think that 2,000 request consecutive attacks would be effective.
*The more you play One Piece cards, the more I think it goes against your senses to suddenly request 3,000 or more for the first life card. However, in my construction, I make it so that you can only get it if you require 3,000 or more from the first life.

These are the thoughts that led to the inclusion of a thicker 2,000 counter. This is also detailed, so I'll move on to the next one.

The third reason for Youngi's rejection is
① Even if you enter Red Purple Low, the probability of winning will hardly change.
② (Because of the influence of Red-Purple Low) Reiju Mirror rarely occurs.
③ I was really tired of the "Great Eruption → Leader Moria Effect Absalom", "Great Eruption → Inugami", "Amaru", etc.
※This is almost it🤣

There are mainly three things mentioned above.
(And when I tried throwing 4 puddings, it turned out to be extremely strong.)

❷To bring Reiju to the Flagship Battle
reasons why I think it is suitable

I would also like to mention this

●Excluding Red Purple Low,
there are few disadvantageous faces (almost none)
●Reiju can “win without opponents understanding”
●High reproducibility

The above three points.

Regarding the first point, the lack of disadvantageous encounters,
Even if you throw 4 puddings, it doesn't interfere with the strong moves of the Reiju deck, and it shows great affinity, so you can “really” fight with almost any environmental deck other than Red-Purple Low with a 5- to 5-minute advantage.
* Purple Luffy and Green Kid are not included here because they are outside environment💦

As for the second point “win without opponents understanding”, I believe that Reiju tends to be put on the back burner during the practice stage.
From there, I believe I was able to win by taking advantage of two factors: opponent's lack of understanding and many 2,000 counters.

Like Blue Nami and Black-Yellow Luffy, Reiju is also a leader who is at a huge disadvantage if the opponent doesn't know how to fight.

The third point is high reproducibility...

First,my conclusion is that Reiju can honestly fight even if I can't have a kingdom in my starting hand.

Of course, there is no doubt that it is the strongest to have kingdom in the starting hand, but Kaya can become a pseudo kingdom, and by evolving the 4 Reiju dropped by Kaya from 2 Reiju, you can secure enough resources, and with 66 searches included, you can access the kingdom by the third turn in about 90% of cases. If you can access it by turn 3, you can battle in plenty of time.
*However, when it comes to face-to-face encounters with disadvantageous or unfavorable opponents, it will be difficult if you can"t have the kingdom your starting hand.

Before you become brain-dead and decide that "Reiju is a kingdom game", it might be a good idea to set it up and give it a try🙇‍♂️

❸-1, Plays that are common to all face-to-face meetings

This is also endless if I list the details,

●Mulligan standard
●How to attack your opponent's character/life
●4 Effective ways to serve pudding
● Timing of issuing judges and issuing them during the game
Decision not to release
●How to cut the counter

I believe that the above five are absolutely inseparable elements when using Reiju to progress through the game.

The first mulligan standard is...
I generally decide on a 50-point hand, and if my first hand is over 50 points, I keep it, and if it's less than 50 points, I mulligan.
(Although I could probably write several thousand words on this alone)

↓So,I will use concrete examples to summarize and convey the message.

⑴ 50 point hand without kingdom
Example: Kaya, 4 Reiju, 7 Ichiji, 4 Pudding, Double Finger (※Assuming you can choose to second attack)

↑There is no Kingdom or 66, but I think I will keep it without hesitation in almost all cases. This is because in the total of 4 cards, 1 draw on the 1st turn of the second attack, Kaya's 2 cards (2 hand is 4 Reiju and 7 Ichiji), and 1 draw on the 2nd turn of the second attack, Kingdom, 66, 2 Reiju, 4 This is because if you see one of the figs, there is a high possibility that the expansion will take place. (If you can't see any of these four types, I'll assume it's not a tweet)

⑵ Hand with kingdom and 50 points
Example: Kingdom, 5 Niji, Sora, Double Finger, 4 Ichiji (※Assuming you can choose to second attack)

↑There is a kingdom, but I would reluctantly keep it. This is because I can't see any strong moves in turn 2.

🚨Hand with kingdom and less than 50 points (eligible for mulligan)
Example: Kingdom・5 Niji・Sora・Double Finger×2
(※Assuming you can choose to second attack)

↑Even if you play the kingdom, it's a hand that seems to have no choice but to evolve until the second turn, or if you're bad, until the third turn. When I see a kingdom, I want to jump on it, but when I'm calm, I mulligan and look forward to the next five cards.

That's all.
What do you think about the mulligan criteria? Honestly, I think that the sense of mulligan standards is the most important factor to win with Reiju. I estimate that the winning rate can vary by up to about 15% depending on experience and understanding of mulligan standards.

Next, let's talk about the second part, how to attack your opponent's character/life. First of all, I also think that Ichiji's transformation on the second turn of the second attack is very powerful.
In particular, he shows extraordinary strength against the Life 4 leader, and quickly gains victory.
However, the reproducibility is about 3 to 40%, so I don't rely on that.

As for how to finalize the main topic, I generally imagine that this Lucky Fastest Ichiji Evolution will be brought into the "life race if possible" and "the resource race if not", branch into each.

I think It is easy to understand that the life race plan from fastest Ichiji is strong if you use it, so I would like to briefly touch on the resource race plan from Reiju evolution (Niji) evolution.
First of all, the main premise is that 4 Reiju is an extremely high value attacker. If you have 2 Reiju in your hand, you will be happy to be KOed even if you are attacked by 4 Reiju with the same value. (Moreover, if it attacks with a request of 3,000 or more in the early and middle stages, I'm pretty sure I'll win)

If your opponent relentlessly attacks 4 Reiju, I think you can win just by playing 4 Reiju every turn.
In this way, I believe that 4 Reiju, who is an attacker who actually benefits from being attacked, and who can draw multiple characters and can also be used from the trash, could even have a stronger chance of winning than the fastest Ichiji, depending on the face-to-face and resource race plan research.
※For example, if my opponent is Black-Yellow Luffy (second attack), I will choose to evolve Reiju even if I can evolve both Reiju and Ichiji. The high power line cannot be used very strongly in the early stages, and the plan is to easily defeat the running ace.

I wrote a lot of what I wanted to write but ended up getting stuck, so to sum it up, if you can evolve Ichiji in the next two stages, do a life race, and if you can't, keep attacking the opponent's attacker with low power (same value) and start a resource race.

Next, let's talk about the third effective way to serve the 4 puddings.
The main premise is that if you can use it when your opponent has 7 or more cards in their hand by the middle of the game, you can usually get a big advantage.
However, even if the number of cards in the opponent's hand is not that large, the opponent will not be happy if he is hit with 4 pudding in most cases.
I would like to show you that the value of 4 puddings is at a sufficient level depending on the situation even if your opponent has 6 or fewer cards in his hand, so I will simply write down the indicators below.
※In the following cases, I will use pudding.

●If your opponent saves their hand.
●If your opponent mulligans and uses one search card.
→ use when your opponent has 6 or more cards

●If your opponent saves their hand and use one search card.
● If your opponent mulligans and uses two or more search card.
→ use when your opponent has 5 or more cards

Next, let's talk about when to issue Judge, and whether to issue it during the game or not.
Personally, ever since I felt that Reiju was becoming more familiar with me, I was able to choose this branch with much more confidence.
The easiest thing to understand is the progress of Ichiji evolution. For example, when facing Moria, if Ichiji run and are returned cleanly by Ice Age + leader effect Absalom, use all my strength to issue Judge.
On the other hand, if there is still Ichiji, I think it would be better to transform more than once per turn, which deviates from the original theory.
*The theory that “it is desirable to only transform once per turn”is to avoid the disadvantage of not being able to use the leader effect on subsequent transformations, but it is also based on the assumption that the character will land as a judge. I am thinking. (All of the children's transformations cost 2 to 3 dongs, so if you look at the efficiency alone, it's obvious that the more times they transform in one turn, the more powerful they are.

If you are brain dead and aim to piay Judge for all games, the "counterless" Judges that keep blocking one slot in your hand will be fatal in games where you should not normally play Judge (if only I could have saved that 7,000 attack...)
It can be.

In summary, by weighing the [explosive power] of Judge's piaying and the resulting [size of the front gap and rear gap], if you judge that the front gap is slightly superior to rear gap, then Judge should be sacrificed the kingdom or Kaya.I recommend that you do so.
※Just thinking about it, it's almost as if I don't remember playing Judge in a confrontation with a fast-paced “Yamato・Katakuri”

Lastly, the fifth point is how to cut the counter.
I think this is a feeling that you should definitely master in order to “win consistently”with Reiju❗️

In the deck called Reiju, the maximum value (counter value) of the cards in my hand is determined if you turn the cards in order.
(In the case of my construction) When I play 2 Reiju when I have 6 cards in my hand and pick up 4 Reiju from the trash, my hand becomes 8 cards, so here I will set the maximum to 8 cards.
*The only time there is a moment when there are more than 9 pieces is in Yamato Face-to-face.

The things I am conscious of not leaving out are:
●Comply with all requirements below 2,000 that can be met "reasonably".
●4 Reiju is dropped as a counter preferentially.
●If I am aiming for the Judge plan, I cuw counters so that I can have 3 or more life when I land.

These three are worth mentioning.
※The first feeling, “reasonably”, will not become established unless you try it many times in various face-to-face meetings, so I will not write in detail about it here.

it is sudden, the ideal “ultimate way to win” for Reiju that I envision is a progression where the opponent first sets up a lethal attack, then defends and returns to win.
※Of course, depending on the case, we may go for lethal first.

I will explain my thinking using specific examples.
A pattern that frequently occurs when facing Moria, which is my specialty, is a pattern where 8 Moria x 2 + Brand New are lined up on the opponent's lethal turn.
In this case, for example, if you have 5 x 2,000 counters and 3 x 1,000 counters in your hand, and you have 1 life, you can definitely defend your life as long as the life counter value is 1,000 or more.
The life counter value is not a gamble where you can tell what is sleeping if the mountain goes around once.

What I'm trying to say is that if you already have this guideline in mind, you'll be able to reduce the time you spend calculating lethality from your opponent's perspective during a match, and you'll have more time to "lure" your opponent.
*The advantage of knowing the life counter value is tremendous in competitive matches.

If a half-hearted attempt to lure Moria face-to-face fails, it will directly lead to a fatal injury that can be withstood by Rebecca + Sabo's endurance plan. Therefore,
① image the situation where your opponent want to put lethal from opponent's perspective.

② In order to do ①, one or two turns beforehand, check your opponent's hand, board,Adjust life

③ Win by inviting and returning

If you are planning to enter a tournament with Reiju, please understand the strong winning strategy of Reiju deck and practice with the aim of being able to reproduce the above progression every game!
※I think that just being conscious of how to cut the counter value or not can make a world of difference in practice efficiency 💦

It's getting long again, but that's it
[Plays that are common to all face-to-face meetings] I wrote down the 5 selections as I thought. However, one thing you should know is that no matter how much I write, there are feelings that are difficult to put into words.
*Honestly, I think that even though I thought I had written most of the things, I only managed to put into writing about 50-60% of what was in my head😭

③-2, Planing to each face

Below is a very rough list of environmental leaders.
※Please ignore the parts that go against your senses🙇‍♂️

●Sakazuki
→Opponent has Tashigi/Brand New/Leader effect Before playing 8 Moria, the hand that has grown rapidly with fruit,so
"destroy it with 4 puddings and next turn playing Judge" is the strongest plan for my construction!
Missing Judge"s parts when the judge piays by opponent's bottom feed cards would be fatal. So 4 Reiju is desirable 2 or more.

It's a slightly advantageous face from my experience.

●Moria
→ You should leave 3 lifes on the Judge playing turn.
If you don't have it, you'll most likely lose, so You desperately left it behind.
2,000 counters are used thickly,so,leader 1 don + leader effect
The strength is that you can receive it almost with just one card in your hand.

It's a Evenly matched from my experience.

●Katakuri
→ Unless the opponent comes to the board, I don't have Judge plan.
You can gradually widen the resource difference with Reiju, Ichiji, and Niji, and you can win.
*When the opponent plays 7 Big Mom, I think you should give life to your opponent at all time.

It's a slightly advantageous face from my experience.

●Enel
→ Let's play 4 pudding on the turn just before playing Judge!
Well, I almost won. 8 Katakuri・9 Yama
Once they are lying down, You lower them by Ichiji and can remove it.

It's a pretty advantageous face from my experience.

●Black-yellow Luffy
→ 4 pudding can be used strongly. If you draw one card, you can almost win!
I think it's best to figure out whether or not to use Judge 1-2 turns in advance.

It's a pretty advantageous face from my experience.

●Yellow green Yamato
→If the counter value doesn't go down, you'll win a lot.
If you can play Ichiji fast turn, the game would be life race. And if you can play Reiju, the game would be resource race.
Judgement of Keeping or receiving the first 8,000 (9,000) attack has a lot to do with the victory or defeat.
(9 Zoro's appearance is almost a death sentence 😇)

It's a slightly advantageous face from my experience.

●Perona
→ You can easily win if you play 4 Pudding when Perona's side has more than 7 cards. And,Judge is so strong for the face.
*9 Zoro and 10 Dofra consecutive hits are not be helped

It's a pretty advantageous face from my experience.

●Whitebeard
→ You must avoid consecutive 9 Whitebeard with 4 Pudding. If you can do it,you will win!

It's a Evenly matched from my experience.

●Red Zoro
→It's tough to be piayed 5 Marcos Continuously.
However, if the game have been proceeded properly, Reiju"s side can win easily.

It's a pretty advantageous face from my experience.

●Uta
→ Even if you play 4 pudding,Uta can recover.
In addition。7 Luffy is too storong for Reiju. So,I think Reiju"s side should use 4 pudding just before your opponent uses 7 Luffy, and next turn, should play Judge.

It's a slightly disadvantageous from my experience.

【Lastly】
I think the content and structure of the article was poor, but thank you for reading this far!
If you like Reiju, I would like you to try tournaments with Reiju🔥
