October 21, 2021： 体操世界選手権、内村航平選手、メダル獲得、パリオリンピック (Artistic Gymnastics World Championships, Kohei Uchimura, Hope for a Medal, Paris Olympics)

 The 50th FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships has taken place in Kitakyushu, Japan. While I expect Daiki Hashimoto to win the men's all-around title, I have a high hope that Kohei Uchimura wins a medal on the horizontal bar. He was qualified for the final, expected to show his brilliant performance.
 I admire his insatiable challenge. Amid the rise of the younger generation, he set a high goal and had a lot of practice beyond my imagination to win competitions with them. Such efforts yielded the Bretschneider, skill on the horizontal bar, which has fascinated me a lot.
 I hope that the great male gymnast of all time will win a medal in the Championships and aim for the 2024 Paris Olympics.

　体操の世界選手権が始まった。橋本大輝選手の個人総合優勝にも期待がかかるが、なによりも、種目別鉄棒に出場する内村航平選手のメダル獲得が注目だ。無事、予選は通過。決勝でも、素晴らしい演技を期待しています。
　飽くなき挑戦を続ける内村選手には感嘆するしかない。若手選手が台頭するなか、目標を設定し、想像を絶する練習を重ねて、競争に勝ち抜くた。その集大成が、鉄棒のブレッドシュナイダーだ。ほれぼれとする見事な演技。
　体操界の最大の功労者にはメダルを取ってもらい、できればパリオリンピックを目指していただきたい。
