May 2, 2022: Another Injury to My Right Leg, Glass Splinters, Go Out for Pleasure! （右足にまたけが、ガラスの破片、遊びに出かけよう!）

  My right leg with an artificial hip joint has had one misfortune after another. This time, a piece of glass stuck me on my right big toe. When I was about to leave the toilet, I hit a glass cup of deodorant with my right arm. Then, it fell from a shelf and broke into pieces. I carefully tried to get out there without stepping on pieces of broken glass but stamped one of them. It stuck on the back of my right big toe.
 I tried to but failed to pull it out since I could not stand on one foot. As usual, I screamed at my wife to get her help. Hearing the scream, she rushed to me with a chair. I slowly sat on the chair and showed her the back of my big toe. She found and slowly pulled out the piece of broken glass. Fortunately, it was so mild that I did not need any treatment.
A series of injuries suggests that I should go out for pleasure more often instead of staying home.

　人工股関節が入っている右脚の災難が続く。今回は、右脚の親指にガラスが刺さった。トイレから出ようとしたときに、芳香剤が入っていたコップに右手が触れてしまいました。その結果、コップが棚から落ちて、粉々に割れてしまいました。割れたガラスの破片が飛び散ったので、踏まないように用心して、トイレから出ようとしたのですが、ガラスが右足に刺さってしまいました。
　慌てたボクは、例によって、大声で叫び、妻に助けを求めました。そしたら、椅子を抱えて飛んできてくれました。ボクは椅子にそろりと座り、親指の裏側を出しました。妻は、ガラスを確認し、ガラスを抜いてくれました。幸いにも、軽症で処置しなくてすみました。
　右足の災難は、家に籠もってばかり以内で、もっと遊びに出かけるようにとの暗示しているようです。
