September 12, 2021：明石家さんまさんのキングオブコント挑戦 (Entry by Akashiya Sanma san to Slapstick Competition)
Akashiya Sanma san may enter into the slapstick competition “King of Konto
(King of Slapstick Comedians)” for the next year. The competition is held
annually every October to select the best slapstick comedian.
It seems that he began to seriously consider the entry when he saw his
colleagues Murakami Shoji san and Hazama Kanpei san have successfully
performed under the duo name of “Yagi to Hitsuji (Goat and Sheep)”. The
colleagues joined the competition for this year and reached the semifinal.
I am not sure that Sanma san really join the competition for the next year,
but really hope that he will join the competition. I was also surprised to see
that the duo reached the semifinal to prove that their performance was well
accepted by young generation.
I am enthusiastic about his comedy TV programs. I always watch a wide
variety of comedy TV programs such as programs starring Chidori,
Downtown, Downtown, Kamaitachi, Shimofuri Myojo and/or others. Among
them, it is only Sama san’s programs that double me over in laugher. I have
no ability to describe in words what in his programs double me up with
laughter, but his programs always excite me. My favorite programs are as
follows:
明石家さんまさんが、「キングオブコント」という大会への参加を検討されているようです。「キングオブコント」は、日本一のコント芸人を決定する大会で、毎年10月に開催されます。
事の発端は、村上ショージさんと間寛平さんが「やぎとひつじ」というユニットを組んで、今年の大会に参加されたことでした。「やぎとひつじ」は残念ながら、準決勝で敗退しましたが、さんまさんがお二人の活躍に刺激を受けて、次の大会に参加されることを検討されているようです。さんまさんの参加が実現するかどうかはまだはっきりしませんが、相方を探されているようですので、本気かもしれません。いずれにしても楽しみです。また、準決勝で敗退とはいえ、「やぎとひつじ」のお笑いが若い世代にも通じたのは新鮮でした。
ボクはさんまさんなどのお笑いが大好きです。さまざまなお笑い番組をみていますが、腹を抱えて笑えるのは、さんまさんの番組です。ボクの笑いの壺を言葉で説明するのは難しいのですが、さんまさん番組はボクの心の刺さり、心がうきうきしていきます。ちなみに、ボクがお気に入りのさんまさんの番組は以下の通りです。
