February 13, 2022：娘の結婚式、結婚相手、AI技術、 (My Daughter’s Wedding Ceremony, Her Partner, AI Technology)
It is less than two months until the wedding ceremony of my daughter. My wife began to try several kimonos. I am also busy checking if my relatives will attend the ceremony.
Before she decided to marry her partner, it seemed that she had no interest in getting married and would stay single. Accordingly, I was astonished to see her get married. She did not explain in detail how she found the partner. But, she seems to have found him through a marriage agency using AI.
I took my hat off to the technology. It found the best partner for my daughter of a unique character. I know that AI is used in various fields such as Japanese chess, home appliances and driving. But it was the first time for me to experience how exceptional AI is.
娘の結婚式まで2ヶ月を切りました。ボスもどの着物を着ようかと、楽しそうに試着しています。ボクも、親族の結婚式参加可否を確認したりと忙しくなってきました。
今回の結婚が決まるまでは、娘は結婚に関心がなく、独身を通しそうでした、そんな娘が結婚することになって、びっくりしています。娘は、あまり詳しく話してくれませんが、相手の方とは結婚相談所を通して知り合ったようです。この相談所のAI（人工知能）が相手の方を選出したようです。
ボクに似て気難しい性格の娘にぴったりの人を選出するAI技術のすごさに脱帽です。AI技術は、将棋、家電や運転などの様々な分野で使われているのは知っていましたが、AIを身近に感じたのは娘の結婚が初めてです。
