The cross-steps performed by the Kyoto Tachibana Band are of several types. The one featured in these images is the one inserted twice in the coda of "Sing, Sing, Sing!".
（京都橘バンドが演じる交差ステップには、いくつかの種類があります。これらの画像で取り上げているのは、『シング・シング・シング！』の終結部において２回挿入されるものです。）
It is characterised by deep knee flexion, and is inserted at a time synchronised with the musical and formation transitions, thus creating very significant visual effect.
（それは膝を深々と曲げる特徴があり、また、音楽や隊形の移行に同期するタイミングで挿入されるため、非常に重要な視覚的効果を生み出します。）
Moreover, as you can see in the images, even the sousaphone and bass drum players participate.
（しかも、これらの画像でも見られるように、スーザフォンやバスドラムの奏者たちまでもが参加します。）
At first glance, it appears that some players have a slightly shallow knee bending, but you should remembered that this was taken at a speed of 1/30th of a second.
（一見すると、膝の曲がりが少し浅い演奏者もいるように見えます、しかし、これが 1/30秒の速度で撮影されたことを忘れてはいけません。）
In other words, the timing of the peak of flexion was only slightly off, that was all.
（つまり、屈曲のピークのタイミングが、わずかにズレていただけのことです、それだけのことです。）
