2022 L10 Workplace Romance and Single People

ルーチンについて

先月より職場でウォーキング大会が開催されており、職場でグループを作り、グループ対抗で総歩数を競うという月間が始まっています。

このため毎朝ウォーキングをしており、それがなんとほぼ毎日続いています。

目標があると続きますね。

似たようなことを英語学習でも行っています。英語学習のルーティンの実施記録を表にしてます。

二か月が経ちましたがいい感じです。

やる気が起きないときでもリストの上から順番にやっていけばよいわけです。何をしようかと考えるようではいけません。

それぞれ10分くらいで終わる分量にしておくとよいですね。

毎日できているものや、今週はできなかったもの、一か月でほとんどできていないものが見える化されます。

リスニング系、会話系、単語系など、塵も積もれば山となる！！

★frown on, …を好まない、…に眉をひそめる、…を批判する

Even in a global pandemic, the workplace is a breeding ground for love, despite the fact that many companies frown on colleagues dating.

★consensual, 合意に基づく、同意に基づく

It establishes that the relationship is consensual, that the couple won't engage in favoritism, and that neither person will take legal action against their employer or each other if the relationship ends.

consensus （意見などの）一致、総意
が関連語です。

★reframe, （…に対する）見方を変える、見直す、再構成する

In the past 10 years or so, articles, books, seminars and podcasts have reframed solo living as positive and empowering rather than isolating and sad.

reframeは「別の額縁に入れる」という意味が元のようです。

★fly solo, 単独飛行をする、1人[単独]で行う

They're flying solo but it's a blessing.

Party of one おひとり様、も要チェック。

★take note, 注目する、注意を払う
