A Few Words from Brian, a Long-time Resident of Japan

Hello, and welcome to 'my' note.

First, please allow me to introduce myself.

I was born in Texas, USA, but have made Japan my home for about 25 years. 

During this time I have worked as an English instructor at the primary, secondary, and university level. At 53 I am past middle age, and recently I've been thinking about making some changes in my life.

(For this reason I've decided to create original content to publish on note. By the way, Japanese is not my native language, so you'll find some mistakes in my writing. Please bear with me.)

My main interests are reading, history, culture, learning new things… in short, I am curious by nature.

My posts will primarily discuss things of interest that I've come across and want to share with others. 

In Japanese. And, of course, English.
