Italy travel diary

It's been a while since I posted. Germany has an autumn vacation that Japan does not have (but they're just one week). So, I went on a trip to Italy during the break.

Galleria degli Uffizi

Primavera (Botticelli

When I decide on a travel destination, I research museums in the area and go to those museums. For example, when I went to Paris, I visited to the Louvre, and when I went Munich for the first time, I visited to the Alte Pinakothek.

The Uffizi Gallery has many famous picture that everyone may know. For example, Botticelli's "Primavera" above. ``The Birth of Venus,'' etc.
If you want to know more about these pictures, I recommend going to the museum.
There is a Japanese version of the audio guide, so you don't need to understand Italian.

The Leaning Tower of Pisa

the Leaning Tower of Pisa

Everyone knows the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
However, many people don't know why it is tilted and how much it is tilted.

Question
What is the tilt of the Leaning Tower of Pisa?
1 4.5 degrees
2 5.5 degrees
3 6.5 degrees

Let me explain why it tilted during thinking time.
The ground on that land was originally weak, and during construction the ground surface subsided unevenly due to the weight of the tower. As a result, it had to be built much lower than planned. Also, if you look closely, the top floor is properly flat.
The Leaning Tower of Pisa was listed in the Guinness World Records as the most leaning building.
In 2010, it was surpassed by the United Arab Emirates' Capital Gate Building (pictured below).

By the way, the answer is 2(4.5 degrees).

Duomo di Milano

Duomo di Milano

Most people in Italy are Christians. So there are so many churches in Italy. For example, many of you may have heard of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore (a famous landmark in Florence) and the Church of Santa Maria in Cosmedin (famous for the Mouth of Truth).
