Kora Town, Shiga Prefecture, a small town located in the quiet eastern part of Lake Biwa, is a place where rich nature and history live. As BowGriP Rakuyuubi, I visited this beautiful town and explored its charms.

Kora Town is an area blessed with water and greenery, spreading out at the foot of the Suzuka Mountains. Here, waterside parks are developed throughout the town, and visitors are greeted by the sound of the river flowing and tranquil rural scenery. In particular, in late autumn, the autumn leaves of Saimyoji Temple, one of the "Koto Sanzan," reach their peak and the town is bustling with many tourists.

Kora Town is also a treasure trove of gourmet food. At the roadside station Seseragi no Sato Kora, fresh local agricultural products and processed foods are gathered, delighting the taste buds of visitors. The authentic stone oven pizza that can only be tasted here and the crepes made with special dough and fresh cream bring smiles to the faces of all who visit.

The natural water of Kora Town is pure and soft, springing from the Suzuka Mountains where Takatora Todo was born and raised, and is known for its rich mineral content and delicious taste. It is said to be ideal for daily hydration, cooking, and mixing with water.
