こんにちは、BowGriP楽ゆ～びです。今回は、美しい自然と歴史が息づく京都府長岡京市にやってきました。この地は、かつて日本の首都であった長岡京の名を受け継ぐ、静かな佇まいの街です。

長岡京市は、歴史を感じさせるスポットが点在しています。特に注目したいのは、柳谷観音楊谷寺です。ここは、四季折々の花で彩られ、特に紫陽花の季節には約5,000株の紫陽花が境内を彩ります。また、乙訓寺では、国内最古の「一日造立仏」である木造十一面観音立像や、「幽愁の毘沙門天」と呼ばれる毘沙門天立像が見どころです。

食文化も長岡京市の魅力の一つ。市の特産品であるたけのこは、春の訪れと共に市民の食卓を豊かにします。たけのこ掘り体験も行われており、訪れる人々に自然とのふれあいを提供しています。

Hello, this is BowGriP Rakuyuubi. This time, I came to Nagaokakyo City, Kyoto Prefecture, where beautiful nature and history live. This place is a quiet town that inherits the name of Nagaokakyo, which was once the capital of Japan.

Nagaokakyo City is dotted with historical spots. One that is particularly noteworthy is Yanagidani Kannon Yodokuji Temple. This place is decorated with flowers throughout the season, and during the hydrangea season, about 5,000 hydrangeas decorate the grounds. Also, at Otokuni Temple, you can see the wooden eleven-faced Kannon standing statue, which is the oldest "one-day Buddha" in Japan, and the standing statue of Bishamonten, known as the "melancholy Bishamonten."

Food culture is also one of the attractions of Nagaokakyo City. Bamboo shoots, a specialty of the city, enrich the dining tables of the citizens with the arrival of spring. There is also a bamboo shoot digging experience, providing visitors with a chance to interact with nature.

Then, in the spring, when the city's flower, the Kirishima Azalea, is in full bloom, the Nagaokakyo Spring Tourism Festival is held, attracting many visitors. During this time, a temporary tourist information center and food and drink booths are set up, where you can enjoy dishes made with local ingredients.
