こんにちは、BowGriP楽ゆ～びです。今回は、日本の心、京都府京都市下京区の魅力をお伝えします。下京区は、京都駅を中心にした活気あふれるエリアで、新旧が交差する街並みが魅力です。

まず訪れたのは、京都駅ビル。ここは、ショッピングからグルメ、そして文化体験まで、さまざまな楽しみが詰まった複合施設です。特に、夜の大階段のプロジェクトマッピングは圧巻の美しさ。空中径路からの眺めもおすすめです。

次に向かったのは、歴史と伝統が息づく西本願寺。ここは、浄土真宗本願寺派の本山であり、国宝の建築物を含む広大な敷地は、訪れる人々に静寂と安らぎを与えてくれます。

そして、子どもから大人まで楽しめる京都鉄道博物館。ここでは、日本の鉄道の歴史を学びながら、実物の車両に触れることができます。鉄道ファンでなくても、そのスケールの大きさには感動すること間違いなしです。

最後に訪れたのは、京都水族館。内陸型の水族館としては国内最大級で、京都ならではの展示が楽しめます。オオサンショウウオなど、珍しい生き物たちとの出会いが待っています。

A travel report by BowGriP Rakuyuubi. Shimogyo Ward, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture (fiction)

Hello, this is BowGriP Rakuyuubi. This time, I will tell you about the charm of Shimogyo Ward, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture, the heart of Japan. Shimogyo Ward is a lively area centered around Kyoto Station, and its attractive streetscape is a crossroads of old and new.

The first place we visited was Kyoto Station Building. This is a complex filled with various enjoyment, from shopping to gourmet food and cultural experiences. In particular, the project mapping on the large staircase at night is breathtakingly beautiful. The view from the aerial walkway is also recommended.

Next, we headed to Nishi Honganji Temple, where history and tradition live on. This is the head temple of the Jodo Shinshu Honganji sect, and the vast grounds, including national treasure buildings, give visitors silence and peace.

And then there's the Kyoto Railway Museum, which can be enjoyed by children and adults alike. Here, you can touch real trains while learning about the history of Japanese railways. Even if you're not a train fan, you're sure to be impressed by its large scale.

Our last stop was the Kyoto Aquarium. It is one of the largest inland aquariums in Japan, and offers exhibits unique to Kyoto. You can encounter rare creatures, such as giant salamanders.
