  • 本塁打は英語で何て言う？

    大谷翔平選手がエンゼルスに移籍した年、本塁打を打つたびに実況アナウンサーが「Big Fly, Ohtani san! (ビッグフライ、大谷さん!)」とコールしていました。これがきっかけとなり本塁打を表す「ビッグフライ」が本塁打を表す言葉として日本に広まりました。本塁打を表す言葉それ以外にも数多くあります。このマガジンには大リーグ公式サイトに掲載された記事がランク付けした２６語の言葉に加えてSNSなどで見つけた言葉を適宜追加していきます。更新は不定期です。
