ブに向けて、浦さんに古くて美しい日本の歌を選んでもらいました。江間章子作詞、團伊玖磨作曲の「花の街(1947)」をサックス篠崎雅史くんに編曲してもらうというお題でした。イントロに替えて「花は咲く」は浦さんのアイデアでした。イントロに替えて「花は咲く」は浦さんのアイデアでした。原曲をもとに篠崎君のハーモニーと共に3人の世界がうまく調和された作品に仕上がったと思います。
東北地方太平洋沖地震で苦しまれた全ての方、そして自然災害でかけがえのない人や場所を失った方全てに捧げます。

'Flower Town (Hana No Machi)' was composed in 1947 shortly after WW2 has ended for Japan, our vocalist Chizuko Ura has picked this beautiful song for Masashi Shinozaki to arrange it, and the trio has produced this memorable version, dedicated to all victims of Tohoku Earthquake and as well as all victims of natural disaster, who's lost their loved ones and beautiful home town.

The song was originally written in 1947 to "brighten and cheer up Japan" in the chaotic post-war world. Music was composed by Dan Ikuma, and the lyricist, Akiko Ema, wrote the lyrics in the hope that the city would one day become a beautiful flower city with hibiscus and other flowers floating in the rubble and scorched earth after the war.
