クリスマスツリーの明かり【翻訳練習】

The house is on the banks of the Katsuragawa River.
When I was running, I saw a large window on the second floor, just at the same line of sight, that was big enough to peek into the inside of a house.
A Christmas tree has been decorated in that space for a while.

The light that I see in the dim light of the morning seems to wrap my heart in a soft and warm manner.
I was instantly drawn in by the way the small golden light sparkled, and I couldn't help but smile even as I ran.

Greetings wishing you a heartwarming holiday season have already become standard, but that light truly warms my heart.

その家は、桂川のほとりにある。
堤防を走っていると、ちょうど同じ目線にある2階に家の中が少しのぞけるくらいの大きな窓がある。
その空間に、少し前からクリスマスツリーが飾られている。

朝のほの暗い時に目にするその光は、心をふわっと温かく包み込んでくれるよう。
小さな金色の光がきらめく様子に一瞬ふっと引き込まれ、走りながらも思わず笑みがこぼれている。

「心温まるホリデーシーズンを」
そんな言葉は、この頃じゃ当たり前になったけれど、あの光は、本当に心を温めてくれる。
