This mission will be the starting point for all the other space adventures that have yet to come. Colonizing our closest satellite will allow humanity to step closer to becoming an interstellar species.
The plan for this mission, set by NASA is to send astronauts to the South Pole of the Moon. The poles are of interest as the land is rich in minerals and ice.
A long-term stay on another celestial body is a challenge that no one has ever accomplished before. However, if we successfully colonize the Moon, we will be ready for the world farther out in the universe, waiting to be discovered.
