"sorry" 「ごめん」だけじゃない!
"I'm Sorry" って、 日本人でも、ほぼ知らない人がいないくらい、日本人にも馴染みのある英語のセリフではないでしょうか❔
I think " I'm sorry " is a very familiar English word in Japanese.
”Sorry” って、「ごめんなさい」だけじゃありません！ You can use "sorry" in other ways.

①ごめんなさい🙇🏼
まずは、皆さんご存じの「ごめんなさい」のSorryです This is most common way to use "sorry", you use when you apologize.
ただ、Sorryにもレベルがあります笑 There are levels of sorry. lol
例えば、よく聞く表現の中に、"sorry about that" があります for example, " sorry about that " is a familiar expression.
私的には、「ごめんなさいね～💦」っていう感じがしました!
また、真剣に謝るときには、sorry だけでは軽すぎる場合があります😶💦 Only sorry might be not enough, if you really need to apologize for something to others.
「ごめん✋」っていう感じでしょうか。
「ほんっっとにごめん」っていうときは、" I'm so sorry" や "I'm very sorry" がいいと思います。 If you really apologize to other people, you should say "I'm so sorry" or " I'm very sorry" or something.
ビジネスメール上など、もっとフォーマルな場では、” I'm terribly sorry" などを使います。 If it is business or something, I mean it's more formal, you should use " I'm terribly sorry."

相手の言ったことを聞き返すときに使う ”sorry"です you can use "sorry", when you ask what other people said.
疑問なので、語尾を上げる感じで！ You usually lower the pitch of your voice at the end
sorry? は丁寧な聞き方の印象があります🌼 This is gentle way to ask someone
聞き返すときには、Hah? なども使われます。 You can use “hah?”. And this is not rude.
日本語の「は？」ではなくて、「え？」くらいの感覚だと思います!
私は”sorry?” が丁寧な感じがしておすすめです!🦖🌷 I recommend “sorry?” instead of “Hah?” tho.
③お気の毒に😢
「最近なんかないの？」「振られたわ💔」「え、ごめん。」 "what's new?" "I was broken. " "oh, I'm sorry"
のごめんです。笑 伝わりますか？ Does it make sense?
お気の毒にという気持ちを表すときに使うことができます。 you can use to express you fell bad for other people.
例) 訃報を聞いたときや、失恋の話を聞いたとき ex.) news of the someone's death, heart break
"I'm sorry to hear that" という言い方をする人が多いように思います I believe many people say " I'm sorry to hear that"
「あ、、そうだったんか、ごめん、、」っていうのと同じ感じです! It's like the same way to use "sorry" in japanese.
「残念」だとか「大変ですよね」といった気持ちを表すことができます🌿
ゲームで負けそうになった時に言われたことも笑（※馬鹿にされてます） I have said "oh, I'm sorry. haha ", when I am going to lose card game.
”I feel sorry for him...." で、「かわいそうに」ということもできます!

④後悔する😔💭
謝るときに、少なからず「しなければよかった」という後悔の気持ちはありますよね When you apologize other people, you have feeling that " I shouldn't do that " more or less.
「昨日はあんなことして、ごめんね」には「あんなことしなければよかった」という気持ちがあると思います。 "I'm sorry what I did to you yesterday." is including " I shouldn't do that ", right?
そんな後悔を表す表現の一つとして、"You'll be sorry." という表現があります。 there is an phrase, " you'll be sorry." Its "sorry" represents regret.
忠告する感じで、「後悔するよ
😏」という感じで使うこともできます It's like " you gonna be regret." and you challenge others.
謝ることになるだろうという風にも、意訳すると、納得できますでしょうか❔ I'm not convinced that the implication is that I'll have to apologize ❔.
けんか腰に聞こえてしまうこともあるかもしれません、 お気を付けて笑 You might be looked feisty. Be careful. haha
