02-45_Colorado (Apr, 2022)

This is our spring 4 days trip for Colorado. Actually after we cancelled the happy new year trip for Cancún, we attempt to go to here however our flight had been cancelled the day before we go.

This is the state? park Garden of the God we visited at first day. As you can see at first picture, there are many huge cool rock. Mainly these have red color but some rock has white and gray.

The park is not to huge, flat so It’s easy to walk around here. All the picture is beautiful, the clear sky blue and the obvious red rock is match.

http://bicycleresort.com/ we stayed here “BUFFALO LODGE”. They have rental bikes(we didn’t use it...) and we enjoyed happy hour at the small restaurant next to reception. We late a few minutes but they allowed us to drink for happy hour!!!

I always forget to take a picture for hotel. I know this is not helpful for you… The room was cute and some wall art I think the owner made it from parts of motor bike.

This is our main purpase to visit at this trip. Rockey Mountain National Park. Actually It’s too early for best season everywhere still has snow and the tempurture is low. Estaba buscando los animares. Donde están???

We encountered many mule deer and elks. They were anywhere in the park. haha We wanna see big horn sheep. We missed the chance to see them at the last trip in California so we hope to see them.

The first thing we did is cub lake trail. The trail road was flat easy to walk and the distance was not long(3mile or something).

It just was windy day(Idk It’s usually or not). When we walk open area between mountain, the strong wind came from the forward… It was seriouslly hard to walk, breath and keep opening our eyes...

This trail isn’t going to the summit so the goal was this frozen lake. I think when this frozen lake melt, It should be super beautiful scenary the mountain would be reflected on the lake.

We waited for animals a cuple of minuts here at sheep lake having a lunch in the car. but nobady appeared... Sometimes big horn sheep come doen to this lake to drink water. Idk the truth but I think that’s way they call this lake to it.

https://estesparkcondos.com/ This is a hotel we stayed 2 nights close to the park. They have everything, kitchen, fire stove, balcony and jacuzzi (warm water didn’t work tho)...

The asian guy took us a picture with amazing background. She complained him about the angle of this picture later thoght… I cropped the picture so now she is fine. Lol

Did you know she always annoying about something duaring walking lol i,g, the weather, the hard road, the hungry and so on... It was I missed the way to go easy at this trail.

I was taken a picture by her taking rest on the rock haha.. This is 2nd trail today to go ‘Chasm Fall’. we did 3 hour trail in this morning, but still hace energy.

Fortunatlly we encountered two moose on the way going to the fall. The people found them earlier thought us the location.

They ware eating grass on the steep mountain. I guess one is mother and the other is daughter. Honestly we wanna see male moose cuz they have super cool horn. However It was really lucky and It worth to did trail.

Btw the water fall was this. complatelly frozen haha. Everything was frozen in the park lol like a Lake Praicid in NY

Have a lunch with beer at hotel. la pasta de tomate con cerveza en el hotel..

As I mentioned earlier, It’s too fast for best season so many road still closed. We went to the limited area this time however It’s enough to enjoy our 2.5days vacation.
