「手が離せません」の英訳あれこれ

I happened to see a Japanese language program for foreigners on TV yesterday.

Teachers explained how to use certain Japanese expressions using English.

Taking a cue from this program, I asked some students at my English-learning community to translate these Japanese sentences into English.

（職場で上司か同僚に何かを手伝ってほしいと頼まれた状況で）
「今はちょっと手が離せません。終わりしだいお手伝いします。」

Here are some examples of what they wrote:

"I am tackling this work now, so I'll help you after finishing this."

"Sorry, I’m tied up with another thing right now. I’ll help you as soon as I finish it. "

"I’m a bit tired up at the moment." I might say, “give you a hand”instead of “help”.

The expressions used in the language program was as follows:

I'm in the middle of something now. I'll help you as soon as I'm done.

But this is not the only correct answer. I think my students did a great job!
