IELTS Writing task 2 採点基準に合わせた戦略

IELTS Writing task 2の採点基準は以下の通りです

1 task response
2 cohesion and cohesiveness
3 lexical resources
4 grammer range and accuracy

1 task response
問題文でどのような回答型であるかを把握

IELTSのWriting task 2の問いは大まかに４つに分けられる。
Discussion, Opinion, problem and solution and two-part questionがそれに当たる。

回答型を特定したら、これに応じてintroduction, body paragraph, conclusionと構成する。

ただし、discussion形式で個人の意見が問われていないのに、個人的な見解を書くと厳格に減点されます。

論理構成が問われている。FirstlyやSecondlyを書けば得点が上がると巷で噂されているが私は間違っていると考える。

１　演繹法　deductive reasoning

以下が具体例です

Socrates is a man
All men is mortal
Therefore, Socrates is mortal

2 帰納法　inductive reasoning

以下が具体例です

This cat is black

A third cat is black
Therefore, all cats are black

論理関係を学んだら、文と文との関係を意識する。

具体例として

主張→根拠→具体例→帰結が文と文との関係です。

On the one hand, competition can be a great source of motivation for children（主張）. When teachers use prizes and games to introduce an element of competitiveness into lessons, it can encourage students to work harder to outcompete the other pupils in the class（根拠）.This kind of healthy rivalry may help students to build their self confidence, while pushing them to study independently and progress more quickly(根拠). When these students leave school, their confidence and determination will help them in a competitive situation such as job interviews(具体例). It can be therefore argued that competition should be encouraged to prepare children for adult life(帰結).

文と文の関係を学んだら、パラグラフごとの関係を意識する。

3 lexical resources

これはコツコツ語彙を増やすしかないと思います。
例えば、important, essential, vital, imperativeなど私もパッと多くは浮かばないので日々精進するのみだと思います。

4 grammar range and accuracy

おそらく日本人だと一番点数が上がるのに時間がかかると思います。

なので戦略を立てるとしたら

1 task responseで型を身につけ

2 論理構成を学びながら　３語彙力強化

4 難易度が高い文法（倒置法、仮定法、助動詞など）

書き終わった後にフィードバックをする。

またテスト当日に山積みになった英作文を眺め、自信を高める

Writingが上手くなればSpeakingも上手くなると思います。
Writingが上手くなればReadingのスピードも上がると思います。（筆者の問い、主張、根拠がわかり、具体例など軽く読み飛ばしても良い個所がわかる）←スキミングの技術

※IELTS Writingでは回答用紙の間違えた個所を斜線で引いても減点されません。したがって、消しゴムを使う時間を英作文の構成、難しい語彙に時間を割くのが良いかと思います。
