D.U.N.K. Digest #2 - 2/9/2023

From YouTube, D.U.N.K. Official

SKY-HI: I hope that this program and this project will be an organic collaboration by like-minded people even if they have different backgrounds and new scenes in dance & vocal music. Let me introduce some of the people who will be working with me to get excited for DUNK. First, BE:FIRST. Next, &TEAM. Wow, this wide shot looks a bit like a battle. Well then, let’s get started, DUNK!

Narration: Artists who agree with Sky High's desire to break down barriers in the music scene have come together. D.U.N.K.

SKY-HI: I am amazed at the number of artists who have participated, including BE:FIRST and &TEAM. Among this group, Nakatsuka-kun from GENERATIONS of LDH, who may be a senior for everyone but a junior for me, came here. Please have a seat.
Yuta: I'm fine sitting on the floor.
A: No, no, no, please.
SKY-HI: Dance Universe Never Killed. D.U.N.K.

SKY-HI: For Nakatsuka-kun, there are people who are not new to you and other who meet you for the first time.
Yuta: Yes, well, they are so different from us. People from LDH are kind of masculine or bad guys. But &TEAM is like beautiful. I'm jealous.
&TEAM: Arigato gozaimasu.

SKY-HI: How about BE:FIRST?
Yuta: Before they debuted, Sota-kun participated in a dance battle on our show (GENERATIONS High School TV) and won two consecutive victories. (When Sota was a high-school student.)
SKY-HI: Two consecutive?
Sota: Yes.
SKY-HI: Sota, are there any competitions you've never won in a row?
Sota: Yes, there are!
Yuta: And I got together with Ryoki-kun and Jyunon-kun at Rampage's Jinn's birthday party and we exchanged sake cups.
Junon & Ryoki: (nodding)
Yuta: I was quite drunk at the time, and I think I caused trouble to them. I am very sorry.
Ryoki: No, no. He got a crazy smile on his face and said, "You are BE THE ONE, aren't you?"
All laugh.
Ryoki: "You must be BE THE ONE!" He said that to me.
Yuta: Hahaha. I like BE:FIRST.

SKY-HI: By the way, Yuma-kun has known Leo for a long time?
Leo: That’s right. We have a friendly and competitive relationship, practicing dances and songs together. We didn't see each other after that, but met again as I'm from BE:FIRST and he's from &TEAM by fulfilling our dreams. We have a good relationship again.

SKY-HI: Perhaps there might be someone who is related to everyone here, an artist participating in DUNK, BALLISTIK BOYZ are connected from Thailand.
Riki: Sawatdeeka. (Hello)
SKY-HI: Wow! Amazing. Is there anyone who would like to ask a question to BALLISTIK BOYZ?
Nicholas: What is the difference between Thailand and Japan? I'm curious.
Masahiro: It has been a long time since we appeared on Japanese television, and I think the set-up is very nice. Thai ask us unreasonable requests, and meetings complete with 3 words. Things we've never heard of happen on the shows.

SKY-HI: Do you know anyone who has known BALISTIK BOYZ for a long time?
Sota: I have hung out with Miki-kun and Rikiya-kun.
Riku: Oh yes.
Sota: I was teased by Miku-kun all the time.
Miku: Ahahaha.
Sota: I went to Las Vegas with Ryuseil when we were in elementary school.
SKY-HI: No elementary school kids allowed in casinos.
Sota: There was a good place to go.
SKY-HI: Hahaha, sure.
Sota: We participated in the Hip Hop World Championships as the separate teams. There were dance teams from about 55 countries. All the teams from Japan got along well with each other. There were a few boys that year, and I god along with Ryusei very well. He handed out marshmallows on a plane. The moment the belt light went out, he stood up and handed out marshmallows.
Leo: If you said that, he might think to bring those next time.
SKY-HI: There are not a few artists performing this time, and there are quite a few of us. So don't take it too hard.
All: Hahahahaha.
Ryusei: I will bring those in boxes.
Sota: It's scary.

SKY-HI: How about you, K-kun?
K: I have known Yoshiyuki who is my senior for four years. We were eating out together. We became friends around the time he made his debut.
It's been so long, so I don't know what to tell him.
Yoshiyuki: Around the time we first met we went to eat and talked about our dreams for the future.
K: We met three or four times a week those days.
SKY-HI: Really? Wow.
Yoshiyuki: Yes, we did.
K: Many time.
SKY-HI: You guys were never on stage together?
K: It never happened. It was right before I went to Korea. I am glad that he knows I made my debut.
Yoshiyuki: I was surprised when I heard of his debut. Like, "Oh, he made it."

SKY-HI: We've been talking about pretty deep relationships, so there's nothing more, right?
Manato: I have a story from nine years ago!
K: Nine!
Manato: Long time no see. I know most of them as friends. Riki-kun and I are good friends who worked together at an artist school in Fukuoka. I was  happy when he became a menber of BALLISTIK BOYZ from the bottom of my heart. Miki-kun, Massan (Masahiro), and Rikiya-kun participated in a project together in the past. Before Masan went to Thailand, we were supposed to have dinner together, but the timing wasn't right so we couldn't go. Ryusei-kun and... The playground that Sota-kun mentioned? That's not good to say. What do you call that?
Sota: Eating out?
SKY-HI: Playground!!
All: Laugh
Manato: I thought Sota-kun said play or something. Oh I didn't mean…

SKY-HI: Nakatsuka-kun is a senior to BALLISTIK BOYZ?
Yuta: That's right. There are FANTASICS, THE RANPAGE, and GENERATIONS above BALLISTIK BOYZ.
SKY-HI: Oh yeah.
Yuta: I am a super senior.
SKY-HI: Hahahahaha.
Yuta: I talk with them a lot because we go out to eat. But it's OK. You guys don't need to come back to Japan!
BALLISTIK BOYZ: No, no, no!
SKY-HI: I will have you join DUNK as soon as you return home in March, though. I am looking forward to it.
BALLISTIK BOYZ: Thank you very much.
