Beam Ray

　The other day, Rei Seimiya from Nogizaka 46 showed us a new post in her own program “Rei English” on the official YouTube channel “Nogizaka Streaming Now.”
　For the third time around, Seimiya tried an American cuisine called Chili Cheese Fries, while speaking only in English. Seimiya had lived in her earlier years in Foster, the State of California. Therefore, she seemed to end up choosing a dish influenced by Mexico, since California had once belonged to the South of the Border.

　Later on in her program, she had trouble explaining “sprinkle” to the Japanese viewers, using a finger gesture. And I suggest she refer to a sprinkler set on the lawn in the garden; which would be easy to grab a nuance.
　Aside from it, her apron of the orange color intertwined with flowers reminded me of the original costume among 4th generation of Nogizaka 46 when they sing “I see…”. So, that became her all the more.

　In the former “Rei English,” she had a talk with her colleague Yuri Kitagawa, who had also been raised in her younger days in California. And what impressed me was the way Kitagawa talked; she looked so present and confident, all of which was very American.
　Unlike the way Kitagawa speaks in Japanese, I found her seductive for her age.

　Together with Haruka Kuromi, the colleague who was born and raised in Hong Kong (her English name is Rachel) and also a freshman in unversity, people will have more fun watching these members talking in English, of course welcomed by a signature smile of the hostess.
