JAZZ AD FLEX

Introduction

Over a 500+ games of playing TFT this is my favorite comp so far in set 10. I've been playing AD flex since patch 13.24. I'm the player that usually focusing on economy over tempo in early stages and then stabilizing my board in later stages. I'm averaging 2.36 and 81% top 4 right now.

Why Jazz AD Flex

This comp is the one of  most powerful right now, it can beat any of 2/3 cost reroll comps. AD are less constested so you have a high chance to hit your ideal units and you can be way more flexible. It's fun if you gamble in game they say "High risk high reward" the higher the stakes the higher the payoff, so this comp it's either 1st or eight. Keep in mind that you'll gonna get dizzy when you play this so think ahead on what you needed to execute this comp but don't worry I'll help you to play Jazz ad flex.

Jazz Trait

Pic#5: Jazz trait

Jazz gives bonus health and damage for any active traits (except unique traits e.g. Maestro, Illbeats, Mixmaster etc.). Refering to Pic#2, 4 Jazz gives 4% bonus HP and 2% bonus DMG and I accumulated 36% bonus HP and 18% bonus damage for 9 active traits.

Gameplan

In order to execute this comp you need to manage your economy properly. Sacking gold in early game plus obtaining 3 or 5 Heartsteel for more item/gold so your early game hp lost don't go to waste or compensate you with extra resources . Always make 10 gold mark for 1 gold interest (Max is 50) but you can extend your interest for picking econ augments like Rich get richer and Hedge Fund also Level Up, Clear Mind, Cluttered Mind, and Patient Study will help you to fast 8/9. Combat augments are also pretty good. Speaking of augment choices on stage 2-1, 3-2, and 4-2 always pick a safer option be wise to make a decision. Don't be greedy to look for ideal headliner be contented on what unit appears in your shop.

Opener

Pic#7: Example 2 | 2-1 Opener

It's a must to pick up headliner K'sante no matter what the +1 trait is and play around him until stage 4. Don't itemize your units if you want to "Raise the stakes" but sometimes you have to in order to lessen hp lost.

Itemizations

On Slamming items always pick those components that you needed for your headliner or carry units. As you can see on picture #3 and #4 you have to slam for Infinity Edge, Red Buff, Blue Buff, and Giant Slayer these are best in slot (BIS) on Ezreal this unit is your placeholder until you find Jhin/ Lucian on later stages. Warmog's Armor, Steadfast Heart and Crownguard for frontline units especially don't miss Evenshroud for Sunder (Armor reduction) against stacking armor frontline. Purposely lose in early stages for accessing carousel first and look for items that mentioned above otherwise look for safer options. Also look for golden spatula for True damage emblem you will need it for AD carries to activate their bling bonus.

When to Level?

On leveling don't use gold to buy experience on stage 2-1 to 2-5 you will guarantee level 4 and Level 5 on stage 2-6 or 2-7. Level 6 on 3-2 then level 7 on stage 3-5 or 3-6. If you are too rich go level 8 on stage 3-7 and rolldown on 4-1 to find a strong headliner. Usually I go level 8 on stage 4-2. Stage 4 is very crucial in the game you need to get your board stronger than others to not bleed hp. If you have enough gold go level 9 on stage 5 and look for units that share the trait of headliner, jazz units or frontline units. This comp btw is about flexibility, put any unit that will help to maximize your jazz value. If you pass stage 5 congratulations you can guarantee top 4. Go level 10 on stage 6 and look for 5 cost headliner like Jhin and Lucian if you can't beat your opponent/s or maybe upgrade your units.

That's all. I hope this guide will help you to climb the ranks and wishing you for better result. Thank you for reading. ^_^
