子育て中　Family Building

駐車場で車から降りると早速こちらに向かって鋭い声を発してくる。オナガという鳥らしい。グレーと濃紺の体に白のアクセントが特徴的な長い尾羽を持っている。私が好きなシック色合いだ。草取り作業で家の裏手に回ると、この近さまで寄ってきてしきりに訴えてくる。もしかしたらこのオナガ(たち)は子育て中なのかもしれない。新しい家族を守るために威嚇してくるのだろう。しばらくは周辺の草取りをしないでおこう。彼らの出産(？)と育児がうまく進みますように。
As soon as we park our car and get out, he or she comes close to us and starts to talk to us. The birds are called Azure winged magpie. Lovely grayish and bluish body with a long tail. When we wander in the back side of our house, they get this close and eagerly cry out against us. They may have built their nest for new family there and may be trying to protect their home and family. We appeiciate their beautiful parenting and hope for their safe family building.
