1.  There are fresh accounts of civilian casualties and severe damage inflicted （加える）by Russia as the tenth day of its invasion of Ukraine begins.  The mayor of the port city of Mariupol said his city was simply being destroyed.  It's still enduring shelling（砲撃）as are the northern cities of Cherniv and Kharkiv.

ロシアによるウクライナ侵攻から10日目となり、民間人の死傷者や深刻な被害が新たに報告されています。市長は 港町マリウポルでは、自分の町がただ破壊されているだけだと言いました。マリウポルは 北部のチェルニフやハルキフと同様に、今も砲撃に耐えています。

2.  Ukraine's President Zelensky has expressed anger that NATO foreign
ministers have again ruled out imposing a no-fly zone saying that their failure
to act was giving a green light to （最終認可を与える、容認する）Russian bombings.   NATO's Secretary General said that the organization had a responsibility to ensure that the conflict didn't spread to other countries.

ウクライナのゼレンスキー大統領は、NATOの外相に怒りをあらわにし、閣僚たちは飛行禁止区域を設置することを再び否定し、ロシアの空爆を容認することになると言いました。 NATOの事務総長は、この紛争が他の国に広がらないようにする責任があると述べました。

3.  And Australia has offered a state funeral to the family of legendary cricketer Shane Warren who's died at the age of 52.   Adored by millions of fans worldwide he was considered by many to be the greatest spin bowler of all time.

オーストラリアは、52歳で亡くなった伝説のクリケット選手、シェーン・ウォーレン氏の遺族に国葬を行うことを発表しました。世界中の何百万人ものファンから愛され、史上最高のスピンボーラーと言われました。
