1.  Diplomatic efforts over the Ukraine crisis will continue on Friday when President Biden hosts a call with transatlantic （大西洋横断の）leaders including from the EU and NATO.  The leaders of Russia and Belarus are holding talks in Moscow.

ウクライナ危機をめぐる外交の努力は、金曜日にバイデン大統領がEUやNATOを含む大西洋横断地域の首脳との会談を主催する際も継続します。ロシアとベラルーシの首脳がモスクワで会談しています。

2.  Canadian police have arrested two of the main organizers of the truck protest against coronavirus restrictions in the capital Ottawa.  There's a large police presence in the city center.

カナダ警察は、首都オタワで行われたコロナウイルス規制に対するトラック抗議デモの主要主催者2名を逮捕しました。市街地には多くの警察が配置されてます。

3.  In Britain storm unit is currently making landfall（上陸）.  There are warnings of flying debris damage to homes and power cuts in the next few hours.  Gusts（突風） could reach up to 90 miles per hour and more than 100 flights have been cancelled.  

イギリスでは現在、台風が上陸しています。今後数時間で、飛散した破片が家屋に被害を与え、停電が発生します。突風は時速90マイルに達する可能性があり、100便以上が欠航しています。
