Officials in France say nearly a thousand protesters have been arrested
following a fourth night of violence.  The unrest comes after the shooting dead of a 17 year old boy by a police officer on Tuesday.  His funeral will be held later.

フランス政府当局によると、4日目の夜、1000人近いデモ参加者が逮捕されました。この騒動は、火曜日に17歳の少年が警官に射殺された事件を受けてのものです。葬儀は後日執り行われます。

Australia is the first country to permit the nationwide use of ecstasy and magic mushrooms to treat some mental health conditions.  Authorized psychiatrists will be allowed to prescribe the drugs for PTSD and some forms of depression.

The European Space Agency will launch its telescope into space from Cape
Canaveral in Florida today on a mission to produce an enormous 3D map of the cosmos in order to study dark matter and dark energy.
