The United Nations have voiced concerns over Sudan's deteriorating situation warning of a potential full-blown （本格的な）catastrophe as the recent breakdown of a ceasefire has led to a surge in violence.  Despite promises of a ceasefire, fighting continues in the capital cartoon making it difficult for foreign nationals to leave.

Here in England a pay deal for hundreds of thousands（数十万の）of medical staff it expected to be agreed later today after months of negotiations.  Ministers will meet health service managers and negotiators from 14 unions representing all NHS staff apart from doctors and dentists.  The proposed deal includes a three percent pay rise for health care workers in England Scotland and Wales but not Northern Ireland where a separate pay review process is underway.
