・the Yardbirdsに取り残されたJimmy Pageがツアーのため（？）にメンバーを集めたthe New Yardbirdsが母体で、そのツアーで披露した曲も収録（#2、#3、#7、#8、#9あたり）
・#2～4あたりの前半の曲はとても長く感じるけれど、ライブではもっと長かった（そしてそれは格好良かった）のだろうな。
・シングルカットされた、比較的わかりやすい#1、#7がアルバムの中では異色。
